Gallery Goodness Galore

Among the boxes and tubes and envelopes of entries for the 36th International Gallery received on 25 June 2010.

Leo Paper Products in Hong Kong sent 44 wonderful entries, other entrants included: Japs-Olson Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Charlie Clark Books LLC in Portland, Oregon, Twill Printing in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, Hopkins Printing in Columbus, Ohio.

Just thought I'd pass along that I'll be one of the judges for the event below, and plan to wear the Gallery golf-shirt that you sent to me one year. Given that it is about 95 degrees with 105 humidity, that should last until lunch.
 
I sent you a book from Elegance Printing Group, their book division along with the one I wrote to you about.  I'm working to get them into the program for annual entries and an at-large-membership; I'll be working on that in September after I complete the judging program. I'll take a train overnight from Shanghai to Hong Kong, meeting with many of the contacts I made over the 17 years with CCOP and the many years of doing press checks preceding my being hired by them.
 
Oh, the book Spring Visits that got a Gold from the Gallery also came in with a Gold for the PubWest design & production contest; I was judging for that program as well. Been doing that one for a number of years every spring.

Of course, take whatever time you need, I was just corresponding with John Knutson, president of Resco in Hudson WI, he needs a couple of extra days because his daughter is home from the Peace Corps for the 4th of July (she has been working in Mongolia) I told him family is most important of all, and to take whatever extra time he needed.
 
I hope Jay's trip was for business and nothing more serious is amiss.
